Pakistan - PTA Type Approval - Overview
In Pakistan, Radio and Telecommunication Equipment is subject to mandatory Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Type Approval before import, production, sales and usage. There are few exemptions to this Approval scope which are presented on this page below.
Relevant Radio, EMC and safety test reports as per applicable test standards along with DoC and technical literature are required as key application documents.
