- What is Pakistan PTA Type Approval ?
Pakistan PTA Type Approval is Pakistan Telecommunication Authority's certification procedure for Telecommunication equipment's allowability in-line with Pakistan Technical and equipment standards.
- What is the validity of Pakistan PTA Type Approval ?
Pakistan PTA Type Approval has unlimited validity. However, re-approvals are required in-case of any hardware changes to the approved equipment.
- What is the Lead time to complete Pakistan PTA Type approval ?

- Are there any exempt equipment from Pakistan Type Approval ?
Yes, GPS only, non-sim based notebooks/desktops and networking equipment (switches, firewalls, servers and storage devices) are exempt from Pakistan Type Approval.
