In cases where an AC adaptor is included in the product package, the adaptor may fall under the scope of EAC Certificate of Conformity (EAC CoC) depending on the applicable Technical Regulations.
For devices incorporating encryption or cryptographic functionality (which includes all wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), an additional FSS (encryption) notification is required. An apostilled Power of Attorney (PoA) is mandatory for this process.

One of the key advantages of certification through Kyrgyzstan is procedural flexibility. CE test reports are generally acceptable for EAC DoC issuance, and no in-country sample testing or factory inspection is required when certification is processed via Kyrgyzstan. This significantly reduces both time and cost compared to other EAEU routes.

A local representative within the EAEU is mandatory for the application process. The EAC Declaration is issued in the name of the local applicant company, with the foreign manufacturer referenced in the certificate.

Approved products must bear the official EAC marking in accordance with EAEU labelling regulations. Labelling must typically include the product name and model, manufacturer details, local applicant/importer details, country of origin, and key technical parameters.

The certification timeline for Kyrgyzstan is generally efficient, with EAC DoC issuance typically completed within 2 to 3 weeks, depending on document readiness. Certificates are valid for up to 5 years for serial production.
