Pakistan has notified the Telecommunication Equipment Standards Regulations, 2024 through S.R.O. 1110(I)/2026, issued by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT).

The regulations apply to telecommunication equipment licensees, manufacturers, and importers and establish standards and testing procedures for different classes of equipment. They cover areas including electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), health and safety, optical and laser safety, RF communication, mobile devices, and satellite communication equipment.
