Pakistan’s Telecommunication Equipment Standards Regulations, 2024 were notified through S.R.O. 1110(I)/2026 and published in the Gazette of Pakistan on 14 July 2026.

The regulations list technical standards for satellite communication equipment, including maritime radio, mobile satellite services and Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) equipment. Applicable IEC and ETSI standards are specified for different equipment categories.

Impact on Manufacturers: Manufacturers and exporters should identify the standards applicable to their satellite equipment and ensure compliance with the relevant technical requirements when preparing for the Pakistani market.
