UAE - TDRA Type Approval - Overview
The UAE's Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) manages the Type Approval process for telecommunications devices, ensuring adherence to local regulations and Wireless Regulatory Compliance.

The UAE TDRA Equipment Type Approval has a three year validity and the process can only be administered through companies who have a valid supplier registration with TDRA. Samples and local testing are not required, however TDRA can request for product samples in some rare cases.

As part of the process, we assist, review and prepare all required technical documents needed for the TDRA Equipment registration. Please note all Radio and Telecommunication devices including receiver/GPS only products also require mandatory UAE TDRA Type approval.
