The Communications Commission of Georgia (ComCom) regulates electronic communications, radio spectrum usage, and telecommunications services in Georgia.

Georgia's regulatory framework is closely aligned with European Union legislation. Radio and telecommunications equipment intended for the Georgian market must comply with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, as well as applicable radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), safety, and spectrum requirements.

As a result, wireless and telecommunications equipment supported by valid CE conformity documentation generally does not require a separate national type approval process or local laboratory testing before being placed on the Georgian market.
