Kenya’s Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy is reviewing the draft Type Approval of Electronic Communications Equipment Regulations, 2026 as part of a wider update to the country’s ICT regulatory framework.

A stakeholder validation exercise is scheduled for 15 September 2026, giving industry participants an opportunity to review the draft and provide feedback.
