The Communications Authority of Kenya has launched a public consultation on its proposed Technical and Procedural Guidelines for the Installation and Maintenance of Cable Telecommunication Infrastructure (2026).

The draft framework aims to standardize the deployment and maintenance of telecom cable infrastructure across Kenya, supporting improved service quality, safety, and sector efficiency.

Stakeholders and members of the public are invited to submit feedback by May 20, 2026.
