Bosnia and Herzegovina regulates telecommunications and radio equipment in accordance with the national regulatory framework administered by the Communications Regulatory Agency (CRA). The CRA is responsible for radio spectrum management, telecommunications regulation, and market surveillance to ensure that radio equipment placed on the market complies with applicable technical and regulatory requirements.

Bosnia and Herzegovina recognizes compliance with the European Union Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and accepts equipment bearing the CE Mark supported by the appropriate technical documentation. As a result, no separate national CRA Type Approval is required for CE-compliant radio and telecommunications equipment before it is placed on the market.
