Tunisia CERT Introduces Mandatory Wi-Fi Connectivity Testing in Certification Process
CERT has updated its Wi-Fi certification procedure, introducing mandatory connectivity testing effective June 1, using the Anritsu 8862A tester.
Along with existing RF tests (power, frequency, spectral mask, etc.), devices will now be evaluated for Wi-Fi connectivity performance across IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards, in line with applicable EN requirements.
A functional Wi-Fi test mode is now mandatory for all Equipment Under Test (EUT) to enable full connectivity verification during certification. CERT has advised manufacturers to ensure future products support this requirement for smooth testing and approval. For expert support and guidance: info@nanotechsol.com
