ICASA has updated its Invitation to Pre-Register (ITP-R) for Community Television Broadcasting Service and Multiplex 1 spectrum licences. The update corrects frequency information for the Northern Cape and Limpopo provinces.

ICASA has also extended the pre-registration deadline from 30 June 2026 to 15 July 2026, giving applicants more time to review the revised information.

The authority confirmed that the changes do not affect eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria, licensing conditions, or the amount of spectrum available.
