Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has released Draft TS RG-SEC Issue 2 for public consultation, proposing updated cybersecurity requirements for Residential Gateways (home routers) aligned with the Cyber Security Agency's (CSA) Cybersecurity Labelling Scheme (CLS) Level 2 framework.

The draft introduces enhanced security measures covering password strength, authentication, firmware updates, credential protection, and data security to improve the resilience of home networks and connected IoT devices.
