Serbia’s RATEL has launched a public bidding procedure for 470–694 MHz radio-frequency spectrum for digital terrestrial television networks.

• Up to 3 individual licences: MUX1, MUX2 & MUX5

• Licence validity: 10 years

• Application deadline: 31 August 2026

• Licences may be extended or renewed

Why it matters: The UHF allocation is relevant for manufacturers and suppliers of RF equipment designed to operate in the 470–694 MHz range, as spectrum regulations help define the frequencies in which such equipment may be deployed.
