Malaysia’s Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will fully implement electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission and immunity requirements under MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026 – Communications Equipment: Baseline Requirements, effective 5 November 2026.

For existing Type Approvals subject to the new immunity requirements, applicants must submit a Parallel by Comparison (PBC) application instead of following the standard renewal process.

Manufacturers and applicants should review their EMC test reports to ensure compliance with the updated requirements before implementation.
