Honduras Consults on National Frequency Allocation Plan Updates

Honduras' National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) has launched a public consultation on proposed updates to the National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF). The draft aims to modernize the country's spectrum framework and support next-generation wireless and satellite services.

The proposal includes expanding the 6 GHz band for licence-exempt Wi-Fi devices, introducing a framework for private IMT (mobile) networks, and enabling NGSO satellite services under updated spectrum rules.
