Ghana has moved another step closer to advancing its 5G rollout, as the National Communications Authority (NCA) completes the qualification stage for spectrum licences in the 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz, and 3 GHz bands.

Of the four applications received, three applicants qualified to proceed to the next stage, while one was not qualified.

The qualified applicants will now move forward to the opening and ranking of Best Price Offers.

This marks an important step toward Ghana’s 5G spectrum allocation and the continued expansion of advanced digital connectivity.
