Australia ACMA Seeks Input on 2026–27 Compliance Priorities

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has launched a consultation seeking industry feedback on its compliance and enforcement priorities for the 2026–27 financial year.

Current focus areas include the TV prominence framework for smart TVs and streaming devices, supply of non-compliant radiocommunications devices, mobile number fraud, Triple Zero emergency service reliability, and support for consumers affected by domestic and family violence.

ACMA also continues long-term enforcement efforts targeting consumer protection, gambling harm reduction under BetStop rules, and spam, telemarketing abuse, and telecom scams.

Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback on emerging risks and regulatory priorities by 20 March 2026. For expert insights, feel free to contact us on info@nanotechsol.com.
