Angola’s INACOM Enhances Security Measures to Prevent Certificate Fraud
In response to recent discoveries of fraudulent approval certificates circulating in Angola, the country's telecom regulator, INACOM, has taken decisive action to enhance its security measures. Strengthening internal protocols, the agency aims to ensure the integrity of all approval documents.
As part of this effort, INACOM has temporarily suspended the processing of all certificates under review. During this suspension, applicants must comply fully with regulatory requirements, as strict enforcement will be in place. The regulator has made it clear that any failure to meet these standards could result in project termination and may lead to legal consequences for non-compliant entities.
Key Compliance Measures for Applicants:
1. Letter of Authorization (LoA) Verification
All LoAs must contain up-to-date validity dates.
INACOM will reject any LoA that is incomplete or unclear, as part of the agency's compliance measures
2. Renewal Procedures
The registered name of the local company
A valid tax identification number
The agency is firmly applying these protocols to protect the fairness and accuracy of the approval process. To get more insights on Angola’s INACOM latest updates, feel free to contact our team at info@nanotechsol.com
