Trinidad and Tobago Invites Applications for 2 GHz Mobile Satellite Spectrum
The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) has invited Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) operators to apply for spectrum in the 2 GHz Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) bands.
The initiative supports TATT's Spectrum Plan for the Accommodation of Non-Terrestrial Networks and will help guide the assignment of spectrum for satellite-based mobile services.
Applicants must indicate their preferred 3GPP NTN bands (n252 or n256), specify the amount of spectrum required, and submit the required technical documentation. Successful applicants progressing to the next phase will also be required to submit a C10 Concession Application.
Applications must be submitted by 21 December 2026.
The initiative marks another step in Trinidad and Tobago's efforts to support satellite-enabled mobile connectivity and advance next-generation communications services.
