Following the press release dated March 15, 2025, Democratic Republic of Congo ARPTC has announced that it has granted a telecommunications network and services license to Starlink DRC S.A. This authorization complies with the current telecommunications and ICT regulations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

With its administrative status now regularized, Starlink is officially authorized to operate as an internet service provider in the country. The company is expected to commence the rollout of its satellite-based internet services in the coming days, aiming to enhance connectivity across the DRC, particularly in underserved and remote areas.
