Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has approved the creation of a Telecommunications Sustainability Seal, a voluntary initiative aimed at recognizing companies in the telecommunications and ICT sectors that adopt sustainability-focused practices.

The program is designed to promote environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles across the industry while encouraging sustainable development and greater visibility for participating organizations.

The initiative is open to telecommunications service providers, equipment manufacturers, data center operators, and other ICT sector stakeholders.
