TRCSL allows the 800 Mhz band (865-868 Mhz) for public use

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) of Sri Lanka has announced its ongoing efforts to update the national frequency allocation plan. This initiative aims to introduce new frequency bands specifically designated for low-power equipment.

One notable change in progress is the opening of the 865-868MHz frequency range for the usage of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology.

The TRC anticipates revealing additional modifications and details once the updated frequency allocation plan for Sri Lanka is officially published.
