Chad ARCEP Launches Four Strategic Platforms to Strengthen Telecom Regulation
Chad's Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARCEP) has launched four strategic platforms aimed at enhancing telecom oversight and supporting the country's digital transformation agenda.
The new systems will enable ARCEP to monitor telecommunications service quality, network coverage, communications traffic, satellite signals, and satellite communication equipment. The initiative also includes tools to combat foreign network interference and support fraud prevention efforts.
According to ARCEP officials, the platforms will strengthen regulatory capabilities, improve consumer protection, enhance transparency, and support the deployment of advanced digital services, including future 5G networks.
The regulator noted that the project marks a transition from traditional declaration-based supervision toward a modern regulatory model driven by data, analytics, and continuous monitoring.
The launch forms part of Chad's broader digital development strategy and efforts to modernize telecommunications regulation and digital governance. For support with telecommunications regulatory compliance and market access, contact Nano Technology Solutions at info@nanotechsol.com.
